Congratulations to the 2023 Any Given Sunday Champion, New Jax City! This is his second title, and everyone in the league is so excited that he won—injuries, Lamar Jackson trade slander, and Bugman glasses be damned! You proved us wrong and earned your spot in an exclusive group of multiple time AGS champs. Now, you guys can go enjoy a holiday at Saltburn together. It is a fact that if his opponent, former defending champ Ambassadors of Quan hadn’t botched his roster, he would be cradling his second bobblehead right now more tenderly than his caresses his nuts before bedtime. However, Quan lost, and NJC won. Hats off to him for an incredible run to close out his season, all thanks to his man Lamar Jackson.
The Quan did not have the quan when it came to making up his mind and settling on the best players to bring him another title. He has some fairly reasonable excuses for his decisions, but I put this “L” on the fact that he broke up his weekly routine and threw off his own game by skipping out on the Week 16 AGS podcast. Then, he comes on to this week’s podcast and goes scorched Earth on us.
My guy needed a Snickers and a hanky for that stiff upper lip, which was in rare form. Voodoo, Frogs, Rudy, and the Champ join me (Rebel Scum) as we just try to survive the final episode of the season.
